Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Missing Dog in Mexican Territory to £15k
Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has raised the bounty for leads about the missing pet Halo to $$20k.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff player, who currently is with the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, stated that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
Halo, who disappeared on October 9th, was wearing a GPS collar, and the footballer posted a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of news regarding our Halo please contact us. Significant bounty for locating her. We are all hoping she is safe and will return to our side soon," Ramsey posted on social media.
Initial Bounty and Emotional Pleas
The footballer initially revealed that Halo had gone missing a fortnight back and has since posted several images of the adored dog on Instagram.
A £7,500 bounty was initially announced, but with lack of updates on the dog's location after a week, the player and his family increased the reward.
"We just want Halo back," he stated in another plea on social media after the elderly pet was lost.
The most recent photograph upload is a black and white snapshot of the beagle sleeping, its head lying in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "How I wish to hold you again sweet Halo."
Household's Concerns and Context
Ramsey has additionally shared a statement from his spouse Colleen on social media mentioning they have some "pressing concerns" surrounding the disappearance and worry the family "may never receive clarity".
"We have yet to have not located Halo. I don't think we will," the spouse's post read.
The Wales leader signed with Mexico's first division team Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and made his debut in Liga MX in the eighth month.
The Caerphilly-born footballer is the pioneering prominent British Isles player to compete in the Liga MX.
